Jess Hamaker (vocals)

Is not your average 19 year old. She is a young spirited girl with a fiery soulful voice that tends to take you by surprise. Don't let her sweet smiles and shy demeanor discourage you. When she opens her mouth, a fierce, passionate, and honest voice resounds and grabs you deep in your soul. She comes from Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania having started her performance career in Musical Theatre until high school when she started playing with different bands at school and at her church. Jess moved to New York City in 2008 to attend PACE University and in early 2009 would help form what would become Walking Upright. Having recently completed her first year of college, Jess is more ambitious than ever.
